How to text 911 or contact police online
Text 911: Begin with your exact address or location and describe the emergency in a short, clear message. Answer the dispatcher’s questions. Do not send photos or videos unless requested.
Online police reports: Some local police and sheriff’s offices accept online reports for non-emergencies. Availability depends on the locality. Use only the official agency website, and never use an online report when someone is in immediate danger.
The Exit Site button replaces this page with a neutral website, but it cannot erase browser history.

Our promise
A pathway—not a decision about eligibility.
Child Safety First and this tool do not determine whether someone qualifies for a service. Each provider confirms its own eligibility, funding, availability, and service area. We help make the possible next step easier to see.
Resource directory notice
Child Safety First provides this directory for informational and referral purposes. Inclusion does not constitute endorsement. Program eligibility, funding, availability, and service areas may change. Each provider makes its own eligibility and service decisions. If information appears incorrect, please notify Child Safety First so it can be reviewed.
Authorized access: Some providers may maintain confidential, protected, or case-related information available only to victims, authorized representatives, legal guardians, or other eligible persons. This pathway does not grant access to records or establish a right to receive information. Users should request only information they are legally authorized to access, and each agency or provider will determine what may be released.
Starter directory reviewed: August 2026. Always contact the provider to confirm current information and availability.
