Effective date: August 20, 2026

Child Safety First, LLC respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly. This notice explains what information we may collect through our website, why we collect it, and how it may be used or shared.

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide when you:

  • Submit a contact, intake, registration, or referral form;
  • Register or pay for a class or service;
  • Schedule an appointment;
  • Communicate with us by telephone, email, or through the website; or

Our website and service providers may also collect limited technical information, such as browser type, device type, IP address, and pages visited.

Please Do Not Submit Sensitive Records Through the General Contact Form

The general website contact form and ordinary email are not intended for detailed or urgent disclosures. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, financial account information, medical or treatment records, complete court records, evidence, passwords, or detailed information about alleged abuse through the general contact form.

Submitting a message does not establish a confidential professional, legal, medical, or therapeutic relationship. If additional information is needed, Child Safety First will provide instructions for an appropriate method of delivery.

How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Respond to questions and service requests;
  • Determine which Child Safety First service may be appropriate;
  • Schedule and administer classes, appointments, or supervised contact;
  • Process registration and payment;
  • Communicate about services, policies, safety requirements, or schedule changes;

  • Comply with legal, court-ordered, contractual, safety, or reporting obligations.

We collect only information reasonably needed for these purposes.

When Information May Be Shared

Child Safety First does not sell personal information.

Information may be shared only when reasonably necessary with:

  • Website hosting, scheduling, payment-processing, email, or technology providers that support our operations;
  • Professionals or agencies involved in a service when authorized by the participant or permitted by an applicable agreement;
  • Courts, attorneys, guardians ad litem, referring agencies, or other authorized persons when required by a court order, written authorization, service agreement, subpoena, or law;
  • Emergency services, law enforcement, child-protection authorities, or other appropriate parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to address an immediate safety concern; or
  • Government or regulatory authorities when legally required.

Participation in supervised visitation, court-referred services, or agency-referred services may involve separate documentation explaining who may receive attendance records, certificates, observations, reports, or other service information.

Confidentiality Has Limits

Child Safety First respects the privacy of participating families, but confidentiality is not absolute. Information may need to be disclosed when required by law, a valid court order, mandatory-reporting responsibilities, an applicable service agreement, or an immediate concern involving the safety of a child or another person.

Payment Information

Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider. Child Safety First does not intentionally collect or retain complete payment-card numbers through its general website contact form. The payment provider’s privacy and security practices also apply to transactions processed through its service.

Children’s Privacy

This website is intended for adults seeking information or services for themselves or their families. Children under 13 should not submit personal information through this website. A parent or legal guardian should contact Child Safety First on a child’s behalf.

Information Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information we maintain. However, no website, email system, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain required records, resolve concerns, and satisfy legal, contractual, insurance, accounting, or court-related obligations.

External Resources and Links

The Not Just a Number: A Pathway to Options resource tool provides links to independent organizations. Entering a ZIP code, city, or county into the pathway does not determine eligibility and does not create a client relationship with Child Safety First. External organizations maintain their own eligibility rules, privacy practices, and records.

Child Safety First does not control and is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external websites.

You may contact us to:

  • Ask what personal information we maintain about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate contact information;
  • Ask that information be deleted when it is not required to be retained; or
